The beginning
Originally Hatfield Christian Fellowship School, established while the Church was in Skeerpoort.
A Christ-centred school community, committed to building for eternity.
Our story
Lighthouse Christian College is a ministry of The King's Lighthouse Church, operating under its covering, guidance and spiritual authority. A School Board appointed by the Church eldership oversees the direction and affairs of the College.
Founded by Pastors Peter and Joy Varrie, the College serves both the congregation and the wider community through Christ-centred education. It began as an Accelerated Christian Education school and is now an independent school aligned with CAPS.
From humble beginnings, we have grown into a thriving school steadfast in academic excellence, Biblical truth and the holistic development of every learner.
